Amy Van Hooser
Founder & President
Amy Van Hooser has a Bachelors Degree in Communications and Graphic and Commercial Art. She working in Marketing for several years before children.
Amy has over 10 years of experience in facilitating small group discussion and training Leaders through La Leche League International.
She owned a small Henna body art business from 2015 - 2022.
She graduated and was ordained by Ascend Academy, Atlanta, GA, in Aug of 2023.
She opened Raising Generals in May 2024.

Michael Van Hooser
Treasurer
Michael Van Hooser was born and raised in Michigan, but now resides in Arkansas with his wife and five sons.
Mike worked for a short time as a public school Highschool math teacher but quickly realized it wasn't a good fit for him. He then went back to school to obtain a Masters degree in Accounting and received his CPA license in 2007. Since then he has spent most of his time in public accounting, in both tax and audit. He is now a Partner at EGP CPA firm.
In his spare time he’s involved with Boy Scouts with his 4 older sons, enjoys watching football and hockey, gardening and exploring the outdoors.

Ericka Gates
Board Member
Ericka is the interim Executive Director of Milk and Honey Acres in North Carolina. "Milk & Honey Acres was truly a vision birthed by God to intersect the Gospel, Hospitality, and Reconnection, some of my favorite things!"
Ericka married Jason, her high school sweetheart, in 2008. They are currently raising and homeschooling their four fun kids on the farmland.
Ericka has worked in many roles with children and families with special needs and has a great passion for individuals with Autism. Late in college, Ericka came to Christ. In 2014, Ericka and Jason joined staff with Cru and began serving with FamilyLife as stateside missionaries in Arkansas, Florida, and North Carolina.
Ericka enjoys almost anything outside in the sun; especially nature walks while talking to Jesus, gardening, and studying nature. She loves cooking homegrown nutritious food for her family and all the people who often find themselves around her table.

Lytesa Harris
Board Member
Lytesa Harris was born and raised in central Arkansas. In 2007 she married her sweetheart Robert, who keeps her laughing! They have three incredible children.
In 2015 she created the small business Me.Brands (Me Period Brands). This was built as the Lord was healing her heart from comparison and low self-esteem. God was telling her that He made her exactly how He planned, nothing to add or take away. Period.
In 2015, under Me.Brands, she opened Charidible Chocolates, her confections and pastries small business, which is thriving today.
In 2012 she started the nonprofit Ladies of Vision which is now being rebranded and shifted to United Ministries and Missions: a unified body of believers whose desire is to tangibly be the hands and feet of Jesus to those who have been sex-trafficked, homeless, and marginalized.
Lytesa has a big heart for those who have been brokenhearted and disregarded by society. She has found herself naturally ministering to youth, young adults and women. Her own story of overcoming odds and adversity gives her a humble heart and relatable spirit. In 2020 she became a licensed minister and has traveled as a missionary to Nyrobi, Paris, France and Italy.
